
Despite an ubiquitous presence in streetwear, New Balance had rarely formally acknowledge their place. With the release of the City Pack, they needed to find a credible way to play in the space. Arriving with the theatre of a spaghetti western, "The Nod" was a comedic take on the cultural factions that defined Berlin – united by one thing, their New Balance sneakers.


The film brought three Berlin tastemakers together in familiar street corner, a dustdeviled parody of the interactions that happen everyday – guest starring the stores and shopfronts that form everyday life.

Finally, we brought the pieces together with a pop up event at CANK Berlin, transforming the venue into a local Späti; a celebration of all things Berlin and the perfect home for the campaign launch and a big night.
